Specialty Café and Lounge Manager
We are looking for an experienced manager to operate and lead a brand new café and lounge that is focused on amazing customer service, consistently delicious coffee and a specialty offering of craft beer and wine. While experience in the specialty café and restaurant industry is a plus, more important is that you have a passion and enthusiasm for customer service, proven management skills and drive to learn and develop both yourself, and others.
We need an entrepreneurial person who can inspire and lead a coffee-loving team and help them develop to be better and better.
The right person will have the challenge and the opportunity to work with us in developing the café/lounge to become the centre of the community. You will run all aspects of the business and will be expected to take full accountability of the café/lounge.
You will need to: • Take full responsibility for the day to day operations of the café/lounge • Have strong communication skills • Understand the financial mechanics of a café/lounge • Have experience in interviewing and employing staff • Have experience in training and developing a team • Set and achieve financial goals
