Subject: Espresso Fudge
 

A lovely treat for any coffee lover.

Ingredients
1 shot of espresso
700g/7oz granulated sugar
300ml/10 fl oz evaporated milk
100g/3oz butter
2 tsp glucose syrup

Preparation Method
- Line a 19cm square tin with baking paper
- Add the espresso, butter, milk, glucose syrup and sugar into a large saucepan
- Place over a low heat and stir until sugar has dissolved
- Increase the heat and bring the mixture to the boil
- Boil for 10 minutes, the mixture is optimal around 115C - this can be checked using a sugar thermometer
- Remove the pan from the heat and leave the mixture to cool for around 2-3 minutes
- Pour into the lined tin and spread evenly using a spatula
- Leave to set
- Remove from the tin and cut into squares

My kids love the taste of coffee so I always try to make something new. I got lots of new recipes from here and Ive tried and most of the recipes turned out great. Espresso Fudge is one of the favourite of my kids.

 
My restaurant point of sale solution is doing wonders, organizing everything.
