Hi, if you can get it try the German Rausch Schokolade!!! They have diffrent ranges of cacao from 31% up to 71%!!! Use about 1/2 kg of chocolate and add 0.8l cream and add 0.5 liter milk. Cook it and drink it. For mocha use just the chocolate you like most. http://www.rausch-schokolade.de/ greetings

well, since i've strayed off topic from this post, i'll pitch in my 2 cents worth. If i want a bittersweet, starbucks-style mocha, i (ironically) use starbucks mocha powder. if i want a milk chocolate style mocha, i use Cadbury's hot cocoa mix. they're both okay, but i got the mocha powder when i loved starbucks mocha, and the Cadbury's makes a damn fine hot chocolate... edit the cadbury's hot cocoa mix is called "drinking chocolate" and i got it in england, so it's probably different from american

I used to buy SBUX’s Mocha powder in a tin can. I can’t remember the price, perhaps around $4.50 per can. I mixed 2 tablespoons of the powder for a 10~12oz Mocha. A single can wouldn’t last too long for me. I am now using Guittard dark chocolate sauce in a big bucket for $19.95 from Espresso Supply, which will last me for about 4 months (if one mocha a day, Mon ~ Fri). It is ready to use, no mixing at all. Guittard sure beats the $4.50/can SBUX Mocha powder.

we should get more people trying samples of the great E guittard wafers. I had one iced today-it was amazing..the best Iced Mocha I have ever had.

Cadburys (biggest choccy maker ini NZ) drinking chocolate powder, good stuff not too rich and mixes in well dont go to heavy on it so the coffee flavours aren't lost!

hi Coffeesnob63 i distribute to cafes in australia and have definitely seen a swing towards high end premium hot chocolate drinks. (I have recently tasted a product by Bensdorp - this was the only info i could find The Espresso of Chocolate Drinks The second new launch from Barry Callebaut is an addition to the Bensdorp brand family in the form of Choc-o-laté. Supplied in tetra pak packaging, Bensdorp Choc-o-laté is a liquid, ready-to-drink chocolate with the added convenience of its own compact and dedicated dispenser. Bensdorp Choc-o-laté is described as an Italian style chocolate drink. It is very rich and very strong and designed to be served in short measures - like an espresso. Its target market includes restaurants and smart coffee shops. Barry Callebaut is confident that in many European markets, Choc-o-laté will be perceived as something different and very special for chocolate lovers.
