Aries Said:

Anyone have a recipe similar to SB's Iced White Chocolate Mocha?

Posted July 19, 2011 link

SB uses (or recently used) Fontana White Mocha Sauce here for this drink. I think about 2 oz in a large drink which has 3 shots, although I find that much syrup to be way too sweet.

My Iced Coffee recipe:

Brew your favorite coffee and let cool.
Pour your coffee into ice cube trays and then freeze them overnight.
Place some glass mugs (I use beer mugs) in the freezer and also freeze overnight.
When you’re ready for some Iced Coffee, brew a new pot of Coffee and let cool.
Place the “Coffee Cubes” into the frosted Mugs.
Pour the cooled coffee over the cubes and flavor as you wish.

It is important to remember that the longer this sits, the stronger it will become.

Well I usually make an espresso, the use a shaker filled with 3/4 of ice inside it, pour the espresso to the shaker, add about 100ml of fresh milk and shake it about 2 or 3 minutes. the result is a foamed iced coffee with still a little iced :D

how about that

I think it might be dark roast beans, but I might not be sure. Here's a recipe for it http://allrecipes.com/recipe/vietnamese-iced-coffee/

First I've got to try the J. Martinez recipe!  My mouth is watering already.

As to my recipe it is incredibly simple and requires no coffee brewing:
Supplies: large gallon+ size container
1/2 lb. coffee (choose your favorite, a dark roast is preferable)
1 gallon good water

If you don't have that large of a container or want to make less just cut the recipe in half.

Put the coffee in the container
Pour in about 1 qt water
With a whisk gently blend the coffee into the water
Top off with the rest of the water and stir again to ensure it is mixed well
Let sit overnight

I liked an earlier poster's suggestion of the coffee ice cubes.  We do that and if you're a sipper it really keeps the drink going a long time.

We like to serve in a large glass with our coffee ice cubes.  Pour the coffee almost to the top.  Pour in about 1/4" of cream.  Stir.  Enjoy.

Oh, if you like it sweet make a simple syrup with some hot coffee and let it cool (so it won't melt your ice/coffee cubes).  Add it to your iced coffee to taste.

I just make a double or two on the CC1 and dump into one of those double walled sealed tumblers with ice and milk with a packet of splenda, yeh yeh yeh sacrilegious for the espresso... but oh so damn good and refreshing.
