Anyone else tried NO BREW...it's a New Orleans product, I just purchased my first bottle of it.     It's a cold brewed expresso style coffee syrup...I've been using it to make my own iced coffee's (not frozen), I've baked with it..and I even made some coffee ice cream with it this week.   All are exceptional in taste.

It's not expensive and maybe not up to most coffee.   Anyone made a similar product at home?  I'd be willing to give this a try, although all Im all about easy.

have you ever tried toddy coffee? a couple ounces of cold brewed coffee, a little bit of syrup (hazelnut is a good choice IMO), ice and milk makes an excellent iced coffee. very little acidity.

i can not envision myself enjoying coffee from a can... i'm pretty sure you could recreate that drink 100 times better at home.

The first coffee I ever drank was from a can... and well... the first milk I ever drank was from... umm... let's just say that I don't drink my coffee or milk from either of those same places. I guess if you compared coffee to wine it would be like asking if you wanted to sip a delicate glass of chardonnay or chug from a bottle of mad dog 20/20. To each his own.

This may be heresy BUT  I can't stand to waste any of my good coffee.  I regularly put the 'end of the pot' or leftovers into ice cube trays, the into ziploc bags when frozen (1 for regular coffee 1 for expresso).  I do the same thing when milk / cream get ready to spoil too.  I will also frequently put leftover coffee into a refrigerator pitcher.  Then depending my my "mood"  I make a drink with the liquid coffee and any combination of coffee / milk/cream cubes.  Other occasions I throw a handful of coffee cubes/milk cubes in the blender and give it a whirl and have a great, cheap, lowfat, low cal coffee drink.  (NOW if i want to add the calories or have a hankering for a sweeter drink, I will add a scoop of vanilla bean or coffee ice cream or frozen cool whip to either the wet or icee drink.)

That sounds disgusting. Why not just make a pot and chill it with ice. With good coffee it should make for a glorious experience. It is far too simple a drink to make, to make go any further would ruin it.
