Subject: I call it an Ivan Drago

With the warm weather coming, I've been making the occasional iced espresso and I made this a couple nights ago.  I'm sure I'm not the first person to try this, but I haven't seen this recipe listed; it's inspired by a White Russian.

-start w/ a glass w/ ice

-add 2 jiggers of vodka (I used Ketel 1 when I tried it)

-add 1/3 jigger of vanilla syrup (adjust to taste; I add just enough to add a hint of sweetness w/o making it taste like vanilla or overly sweet)

-add 2 double shots of fresh pulled quality espresso (still tastes good w/ 1 double and fits better in a rocks gass)

-add a float of milk or cream

This drink is seriously good!  I like Kaluha, but the good espresso really sets this drink apart.

I told a chronie down at work about this and said it was kind of like a White Russian; his response was "a White Russian on steroids!"  Hence the name Ivan Drago (if you don't remember, that was Dolph Lundgren's role in Rocky IV)

FYI, a White Russian is vodka, kaluha, and cream over ice.
