Posted Thu Jan 23, 2014, 3:48pm Subject: Just to say hi!
I'm newbie here and proud to be part of this group and looking forward to share my idea and knowledge with you, and vice versa, since you taught me soooo much since the last 2 month!! After my Breville Cafe Roma started acting bizarre, I decided it was time to learn wath was a good espresso machine, and now i find myself geek as I've never been...
Got myself a "good" grinder fisrt, Compak K3 Touch, then got another machine... I know it's another Breville , but you know, it heats, it pumps, and that's the basic idea...I got a single wall double basket, a tamper, and now I'm using my old skills of electromecanician to pimp up thit little thing... :) changing some parts and tubing here and there :)... and I think that with a bit of patience and research I will have a nice machine with some interesting features!
Anyway i'm doing it for fun and understanding the principle of a good espresso machine :)
