Hi my name is Cory and I am just beginning my journey of appreciating coffee and espresso.  I am interested in learning more about espresso gear and shot pulling technique.  I would really like to be able to demo some machines and grinders in the Boston area, does anyone know if this possible?
Cheers

Cory, welcome to CG.
If you were willing to travel to Albany, NY, an awesome vendor Chris Coffee Service, located there has ALL their grinders and machines on display and ready for purchases to try. They have terrific CS, and a great selection.

What Ron says would likely get you on the hot track to everything coffee.

I would like to check out the SCAA but the price seems kinda steep for me being so new to the coffee scene.  I was hoping some kind local CG would let me check out their machine and give me a lesson or two.  i was also curious to hear people's opinons on buying used gear?  I see some good deals out there but without knowing much I worry about getting a bad deal.  Right now i am thinking about either a Silvia or a Crossland CC1.  As far as a grinder I am think the Rocky route but have heard good stuff about Baratza.  Thanks for any and all feedback.
cheers
