i hate that!
it's all good though, i went through every post and replaced the links that didn't work with the same and/or better version of the video. so please check out the videos if you had problems viewing them before.

This was interesting. I had been thinking of Wayne Shorter as sort of a fusion player. I would say this borders on the avant guard. Made me sit up and take notice.

here is another double shot of music for your cup. :) one of my favorites. first straight up, and then with a little guitar added for those that like a little guitar with their music.

mingus was great. MMW is a different kind of jazz. and no, i wish i was related! check out their live at the tonic album. it sounds different from the rest of their stuff. i'm always looking for new music. it's hard to find good new jazz. do you know of any? who do you usually listen to?
this is some newer different kind of stuff you might of heard before. maybe it will taste a little better than MMW. :)

I did like this. It had a bit of a Klezmer feel even if there were no clarinets. I do like Klezmer music. My favorite Jazz sort of centers on the Bebop period but I could be listening to Louis Armstrong's Hot Fives or Fats Waller one minute and Trane the next. As Ellington said there are two kind of music: good music and the other kind.
