Since this is my first Thanksgiving as a coffee geek, I was curious if any of the major espresso machine retailers do good Black Friday deals. If I was wanting to upgrade now, would it be worth holding off to see what deals come around in a few weeks?

I would like to know as well. I would assume for the high percentage of us shopping online we have to go with the "cyber monday" over the black friday?
Will be good to know since I have a few things left to pick up.

last year I seem to remember a few smallish cyber monday deals. Nothing earth shattering, but reasonable if you were in the market for an upgrade anyway and needed a reason to be pushed to seal the deal.

last year when I was looking for a machine I couldn't find any deals worth my while. Certainly not anything compared to what you mind find on a TV or other high priced item, just because the market for these machines is so small if you're in the market you're probably going to buy one deal or no deal.

That's also what I remember from just looking to see if crazy deals were available. It's not worth it to wait unless you think saving something like 5-10% on low-end coffee gear or high-end super-autos is sufficient savings.
