Hi,
My wife just treated me to two weeks in Italy now I'm on a mission to make good coffee. I usually impulse buy but this time I've been studying a bit. I just about bought a Breville BS900XL, then after reading I started leaning to a Pasquini Liva 90, then I found this site and now I'm considering a Bezzera magica. Of course after much reading I now realize the cheap grinder I have needs to be replaced. I started out shopping on Amazon since I live in the middle of nowhere and the only place to buy coffee makers would be Ace hardware. Any help would be appreciated I'm a complete newbe who up until now thought a Keurig was the hot ticket....

Hello to all! I have been lurking for quite a while and have learned a lot from you all. I have recently upgraded from a Silvia and Rancilio MD40 to a Izzo Alex II and Mazzer Mini Type B. Needless to say there has been a learning curve. I have really been having trouble with the frothing, so I look forward to benefiting from the collective knowledge here.

Hello everyone! I've been looking over the site for a few months now. I'm actually a wine buyer but I LOVE coffee and a lot of the similarities in the effects terroir influences both grapes and beans. I'm currently researching equipment for a wine/coffee shop concept I'm working on and I'd love to get the opinions of some of the more knowledgeable of you on the site. Thanks so much for any help you can offer! Cheers.

Hey all!
What a great forum this is. I think I've joined about a week ago and haven't properly introduced myself. So.. Helloooo! I'll be representing the Netherlands here haha ;)
I started learning more about coffee about one and a half years ago. I can now safely say I do prefer brewing methods like the Abid Clever Dripper and Chemex.
I've recently started a new blog, which I won't promote on my very first post ;) In order for it to have enough entertaining and eventually educational content, I'm currently on a quest to learn as much as possible about coffee... Hence, I'm here. I hope to talk to a lot of you and hear/read your experiences/preferences/any other anecdotes!

Hi all, I'm Zack, and I've finally decided to join the discussion and start making coffee now that I've got enough paraphernalia. I've been home roasting for a couple years now I think, just on a WB Poppery. I'm currently in Ann Arbor, and hang around Comet, Lab, Mighty Good, and Espresso Elevado. Working on my espresso lately.

I am a coffee lover myself, and would like to create a unique environment for others to enjoy a beautifully made cup of coffee, among other things. Any tips or hints or advice would be fantastic!

Hi everyone! I'm Kyle, I just joined this board and thought of saying "Hello" to all of you. I love coffee, I drink it every day, twice a day (morning and afternoon). :) Although I've been a coffee drinker, it's the first time that I will be brewing my own cup of coffee. I think it would be great if I can have a freshly brewed coffee whenever I want. I've always relied on nearby coffee shops for a quick hot cup, so brewing my own will be such a thrill!
