Overseas ordering usually means no warranty in the states. Ordering to some countries increases the possibility of fraud exponentially. If something isn't included (missing portafilters, etc.), the item arrives damaged, or the item never arrives, what do you do? Who do you call for customer service? Leaks, overpressure, a stuck valve. What if the boiler cracks? If you are lucky all you will have to do is pay shipping for the part. More likely, you wqill have to buy a new boiler out of pocket and install it yourself. or maybe you just bought a Bezerra Petunia Planter...? Call a USA service agent/importer who sells the same item and ask them if they will warranty a machine you bought overseas. Hold the phone away from your ear to avoid either the very loud laughing or the profanity-laden death threats.
For example, that Astoria Argenta ? I wonder how much it would cost to ship it here. As kinda mentioned by frcn and has been my experience in Asia, you bought it you own it. Good luck trying to get exchanges, remimbursements, missing parts etc. This is from personal experience doing business with companies in Asia. Yes I have stories.
They make up prices without checking the market. If I could get that sort of price on a La Pavoni, I'd fly there to pick it up. They're selling at less than 50% of the going prices of most models.
They're supposedly in Surabaya? Who'd open a distributorship (even international) in Surabaya. It's a feeder port and stopping off point to Bali, but the big international traders are all in Jakarta (maybe with a satellite in Sub).
For the clincher if you don't like the pure logic of the post(s) above... Check out Google Maps. 42 Jl.Jend Sudriman is a hotel. there's nothing but trees to the left and right (north/south from what I can see) of that location.
Total Fraud - I'd bet on it. But, I'm a born skeptic, so I've emailed the La Pavoni reps in Singapore (there are none in Indo, another hint as to fraud) because they'll have heard of them. If they respond, I'll post again.

Hi, I am living in Hong Kong and ordered a coffee machine from buanacoffee.com in early July, 2012. I placed the order on web and sent them money via wire transfer and got their reply email stated that my coffee machine has been shipped on 10 July, 2012. Today is 3 August, 2012, I still haven't receive my coffee machine, which claimed to be delivered in 3-4 days. I tried to contact the company by sending them email, leaving message on their webpage, sending them message through the online chat, but no reply. The last email that I received from them was the one notified me the coffee machine has been shipped on 10 July, 2012. Will update on this forum if I finally receive the coffee machine. However, if I don't have further post on this, that means it's a SCAM.

The SCAM list grows. I ordered two Mazzer Mini grinders from Buana Coffee on July 16, 2012 via money wire transfer. Still no grinders have been delivered. Emails stopped the second money was transferred. Then my order vanished along with all account information, thus I can't even log in. La Marzocco has informed me it would be impossible to offer real Mazzers for such low prices. Buana Coffee is brewing international class action law suits. DO NOT BE FOOLED - BUANA COFFEE IS A SCAM !
