I used to ride, and still miss it. My life, however, has different priorities, so my riding days are over in all likelihood. My pride and joy was a 2000 Ducati 996 that I bought new. At about 12k miles, I blew the engine at the track (spun a big-end rod bearing) and spent a lot to rebuild it. Of course, I went all out (basically converted it to a 996sps spec engine) with accompanying suspension, frame and control upgrades. Looking back, I could have bought a GS/3 and Major instead.....
It was a blast, but unfortunately the fuel map was made by a hack. He's a big name locally, but he ruined my engine after a measly 3k miles. Anyway, I ended up parting it out a few years ago and still have a few random parts in my garage. On warm days, I dream of riding it.
The Yamaha RZ350 was by far the best bike I had (it is pictured below). All the bikes I've had were 2-stroke street bikes excluding the KZ650, which was a 4 stroke.

Would love a Fat Boy Lo in denim black with as little chrome as possible, no B pad or rear pegs. I don't think the wife will go for it :)
You know those people that want to tell you how to raise your kids but have none of their own? That is how i feel when someone with a kitchen appliance tells me how the merits or dis-merits of my machine or how to use it.

Harley owners allowed in this thread?!? 2006 Road King. I must admit I don't think I would ride unless it was on a Harley. I grew up on dirt bikes, atv's, and this is my first road bike.

That's a shame. I'm not particularly into sportsbikes but the 748/916/996 series are artwork. There was a chappie on TV a while back who had a 916 mounted on the wall Click Here (www.dailymail.co.uk) You could have done something similar? ;)

Looks like a fun list, I do recognise all those but we know some of them by different model designations. One of my mates had an RD350LC (RZ350) back in the eighties good fun to ride and a bit of a hooligan tool. Haven't seen one on the road for ages though.
