In another thread, reference to my shop was made. Though only a small sliver of it was visible the poster liked it. Well, I thought I would give you a little better view of it. These photos are a few years old and there are more tools, equipment and junk around now but it will give you a little idea of my "hobby" space LOL!
I have a great wife who one day, out of the blue, said " you have been wanting to build a shop for a long time (over 15 years at the time of her statement) so why don't we just refinance the house and you build your shop?"
Ya gotta love a woman who loves you that much! Well, this is the result (OH, btw, I got enough money out of the refinance and we redid the kitchen too, ya gotta give back also!)
My building sits on a 6" thick slab of concrete. The shop is 20' high (nice to have room to flip things around and not worry about hitting the roof!) 30' wide and 75 feet long. The raised platform in the back of the shop is 9 feet in the air and is 20' square or about the size of a 2 1/2 car garage in the U.S.
So without further ado.......
This is from the front door looking to the back. The son had just moved his car out of the shop and that is his engine on the hoist in the forground.

This is my welding machine (or one of them!) the blue machine. The red machine is a hot metal roll forming machine that I built from a pile of scrap in the shop.

This is one of the few pieces I actually took a picture of before it went out the door and it nearly got away too! It is a wall mounted table frame. I think they used a slab of marble on it. It is 24" high, 24" wide and 18" deep, yes that means it is half of an oval, not a circle.
