I'm a sucker for African coffees. Ethiopians and Yemen.....was drinking a fruity Brazil today at the shop, and pulled shots with the Yemen the other day, and had a Peru that blew my socks off....
I find that African coffees seem to have the most complex and interesting tones that I never get tired off. I do enjoy Mexican Chiapas later in the day right now, but that could easily be swapped with anything similar. Never was an Indonesian coffee fan though....
I've been drinking Dominican Republic Bani I picked up from Thetaridgecoffee.com for $2.44/pound. I roast it to City+. It is damn good coffee. It really surprised me how much so considering the low cost.
"Coffee leads men to trifle away their time, scald their chops, and spend their money, all for a little base, black, thick, nasty, bitter, stinking nauseous puddle water." ~The Women's Petition Against Coffee, 1674
