Ron, you have to manually remove the "deletethis" part of the email address so it will work.

The "deletethis' part is added in the email address to act as a spam trap to stop or cut down on nuisance email spams from spam bots, spammers., & the like. When a person is replying/forwarding to an email he/she would have to manually remove the deletethis part of the email address if you're getting a bounce back.

Thanks Craig!
We were also having the usual Comcast (your "Rogers") issues.
I will be doing a short write-up of an incredible new coffee house in East Nashville. They have a Slayer, and know how to use it.
I'll put it in the "Cafe's Forum.
A heads up, it's call Barista Parlor.

They serve 3-4 artisan roasts every day.

A recent road trip took us through Nashville, and a barista in Louisville gave advance recommendations to stop in at Crema and Barista Parlor (I think both have been mentioned in this thread). High-quality coffee at both, but you have to drive out from the center a little to get to them.

Hey IMAWriter, thanks for the tip. Was just in Nashville, did a search on CG, found this recommendation, and went to check it out. Really liked it. Pretty cool place. While it's clear that coffee is their primary focus -- the Slayer is a nice touch -- I liked the layout and the retro-industrial-meets-modern-rustic feel (I think I just made that up). The cool bikes and music player add to the appeal. I should be back on business a few times this year, so I'll make sure to visit again. Especially since it appears they're building a nice outdoor stage.

Back on topic, there's another place in E.Nashville called Barista Parlor.
Here is a Facebook Link.

Apparently they have coffees from 3-4 different well known roasters. They also have a SLAYER.
Pour-over and slow drip also.
Closest thing to a "3rd wave" cafe around here....and it's fairly huge.

For Ron's benefit, Brentwood is a suburb adjacent to Nashville, about 15 minutes South of Music row/downtown.
Crema IS a very nice cafe.

I know this thread is majorly old, but thought I would contribute to some decent shops around.
I worked at barista parlor and they pull some decent straight shots. Their capps are good and their pour over and cold brew are on point. Their food is delicious as well. all fresh and organic.

Visited Crema a couple times recently and their straight shots are delicious. Haven't had a bad one yet. Ive had a regular capp and an almond coconut milk capp, the regular cap was good, the other was just alright. The pastries are phenomenal and very fresh.

The frothy monkey is somewhere else that is not bad. Their espresso was decent and the capp was decent. The food was very good, great place for breakfast or lunch.

Eight and roast, did not enjoy the espresso the first time. I will be giving it another shot though because it seemed very promising walking in.  The capp was pretty good. Good foam and it made the espresso lighten up a lot and brought out more of the flavors.

I'm working in Nashville for a bit, so I have been to Crema many times now....love the shots there! I recently visited Barista Parlor Golden Sound, and had three very nice doubles poured for me! I think they were from Stumptown and Fourbarrel. Also had a delicious sausage biscuit there! I will return for sure! Would like to try some of the pour over coffees they have.

Frothy Monkey is a great place to go and hang out. The food is pretty good, and they serve beer and wine too! I usually just get americanos, or a machiatto or  cappa there. Same for The Perch and The Well in Brentwood.

Great town!.....some really great restaurants, some great breweries and distilleries here too!

Too much traffic though.....

I've been a Brentwood resident for 20 years. I was mostly farms when I oved here. Now about 1/2 the music community lives here and neighboring Franklin.
You've hit the good spots. If you go back to the Barista Parlor (in  the Gulch) ask for Lee Sill, and tell him you want the Robert Jason special, on the wooden plank.

I've heard it was all farms back in the day. Nice area though...and so is Franklin. Those two would be my choice if we ever moved here.

I will most certainly go back to the Barista Parlor and look for Lee....thanks!
