I recently ordered and received three bags of coffee (one premium and two peaberry) from Hubbard and Sons. Their website is Hubbardcoffee.com. I tried three different grinds of their premium coffee and found it to be almost toally without taste. Certainly not representative of any Kona coffee that I am used to drinking. I also tried it in two different pots. Almost without any flavor. I wrote them asking for any suggestions, with no response. I now wrote them trying to return the two lbs. of peaberry I purchased using their money back guarantee. So far I still haven't received any response. Has anyone done business with these people? Has anyone tried their coffee and had a different experience?

It's been a week since my initial email to Hubbard and still no response at all. I can only assume that they are very familiar with the problem and this is their normal way of dealing with it. I still have two full lbs. of their peaberry roasted beans which I guess I will have to scrap at over $30 a bag. I've gotten burnt here, but you shouldn't. STAY AWAY FROM THIS FARM????? YOU ARE FOREWARNED

They finally did get back to me and told me they were refunding my purchase which they did about two weeks later. At least they aren't dishonest people and lived up to their guaranty claim. Just after I received their order I ordered three lbs. of peaberry from Smith Farms. This was a much better quality coffee than the Hubbard order. I don't know what was not right there, the Hubbard Peaberry was very weak and flavorless, especially when compared with the Smith Farms Peaberry.
I can't recommend the Hubbard Coffee but they did take care of the problem.
