Hey all,

I have a La Cara lever machine for sale in the Bay Area.  I have recently performed a complete overhaul of the gaskets and seals, full descale, etc.  It is pulling some great shots right now.  It is an older two switch design with the group screen that unscrews, similar to older La Pavoni Europiccolas.  This machine has a larger boiler, similar to the La Pavoni "Ambassador" which is basically a professional without a pressure gauge.  If you wanted to upgrade it, you could put a PID on it, or a pstat, but I like the analog temp surfing of this model, it is kinda like shooting film photography, no real substitute. :-)

Included are single and double portafilter baskets, and a vintage aluminum tamper.

I would rather not ship it.  The custom Corian base that was fabricated for it by the previous owner is very heavy.

I will also consider trades for a good grinder, let me know what you have.
I would be partial to a Macap or La Cimbali but not exclusively.
Cheers,
Chris
