I am selling my Cimbali Junior S1 which has been totally rebuilt. The rebuild included disassembly and cleaning of boiler and pipes in citric acid bath, stripped and repainted frame, all new seals and gaskets. New FOT pump. The steel base frame pan was used as a template for a new one I had custom machined out of stainless steel. It comes with 4 portafilters and knock box plus miscellaneous other accessories like group brush, cleaner and espresso multi tool thingy. Please email for photos.

Sale is being postponed until spring due to many requests to ship this machine. Note that exposure to extreme cold temps will damage HX tube. Thanks

There are ways to winterize the machine to prevent freeze damage such as draining the water by flushing with a food safe antifreeze designed for RV use or an old stand by such as Vodka.

Wow, that is an amazing product. I have to admit though that the vodka option has a certain appeal. The machine is being retrieved from Ithaca NY over the holiday and will be available in Washington DC after New Years. It can be winterized and shipped to any UPS ground location (which I assume to be lower 48). Please email me if you want photos sent. So the sale is ON!
Thanks
Anne

Just be sure that on a machine with multiple water paths such as HX or DB, you get your soultion into ALL the places such as the boiler and the HX system. Just saying.... it is easy to accidently miss some of the water system.

I bought an Oscar several years ago shipped from N.Y. with Vodka in the water system. Whoever buys the machine, uh, make sure it is WELL flushed before use and back to clean water. In my eagerness to get the machine up and running when it got to me, I just put water in it and turned it on. I ground my coffee and eagerly pulled a shot, upon a big mouthful of nearly 200F vodka, I could not spit it out fast enough, my mouth burned for a few days after that!

I am not sure of the legal issues that may come up with booze in the boiler, just be careful you are not accused of "bootleging" LOL!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I bought an Olympia Maximatic / Coffex heat exchager from Anne earlier this year. The restoration was very well and carefully done, communication was great and the packaging was top notch!
