I am selling/trading my La Pavoni.  I honestly thought I would really like having a manual but its just not for me and I'd like to move to a Gaggia Classic or possibly a Silvia though I know that's a big price jump.

If anyone has a Gaggia Classic they have taken decent care of and they want to trade into the manual world and live in San Diego, let me know.  I am also willing to ship and I'm sure we could work something out.

I posted it on ebay but took it down because there was enough interest here.  I would prefer to help a fellow CG'er out anyway.

Its a Pre-Millenial with a pressure stat instead of two switches and all chrome.  There is some rusting under the drip tray, the boiler swivels a little on the base, and it came with a little bit of its chord casing melted, but the machine has been working great otherwise and the group head was just cleaned by me prior to listing it.

I bought it for $300 and had to put a new brass piston and gaskets in it as well as buy a 49mm tamper base.

Gaskets are about a year old and are holding up well after light use.  Price listed is cost minus shipping I put into it.  Tamper base included in sale/trade.

Thank you.
