I'm interested in trading my Vario-W (with both ceramic and ditting steel burrs) for a standard Vario + $100. Would consider selling the Vario-W for $425 + shipping. The grinder is mostly new and has had about 30 lbs of beans through it. Have the original box and accessories. Grinder has no blemishes and looks brand new.

Hey there! First, I'm in Memphis, so perhaps we need to organize a get-together!
If you are interested in stepping up into the conical range, I'm looking to downsize from my La Cimbali Max Hybrid. Great value and entrypoint into the serious conical arena. It's not a Robur or a Compak K10 Fresh, but it is pretty legit. I use mine with a scale for single dosing, slightly more work but I have loved the depth of flavor, consistency, and forgiveness that its offered.
I bought it used in excellent condition 15 months ago and have pulled a shot per day. No flavored coffees ever. Mine has the shorter hopper for underneath countertops.
New this thing is 950-1150. If we did a trade I'd be looking to get some cash. Let me know if you're interested.
Thanks for the offer, but I'm not interested in trading up. I'm actually trading so I can get the standard Vario for espresso and have some cash to get another burr grinder for pour over. I'm tired of switching between grind settings.
But if you're in Memphis, we definitely need to do a get together at some point!
