For sale is my mint, used Quickmill Vetrano with some upgrades and extras. I bought this from Merle from this forum, I'll try to find his username but he is a good guy. Merle ran on a 2-stage water filtration system for 2 years or so, and I ran it on filtered water for a few months before moving and just storing it for 2 years.

I had no issues with the machine and found it an absolute dream to use and it made amazing espresso. Please respond with a PM to the ad with any questions.

- Quickmill Vertrano (http://www.chriscoffee.com/Quickmill-Vetrano-p/n995.htm), semi-automatic, based on the famous E61 group. Uses rotary pump for longevity and quiet operation.
- Hand made in Italy!
- Rated 8.9/10 on Coffegeek review board (http://coffeegeek.com/reviews/commercial/vetrano)
- Upgraded to Jaeger pressure stat.
- EricS group-head thermometer installed - this makes flushing very easy.
- Extras include a few steam tips, a digital timer powerbar, plastic tamper, an extra Ma-Ter upgraded pressure stat and 2 portafilters w/baskets: single and double.
- 3/8 water hoses.

PM me any questions, thanks! I was expecting to sell locally so please give me some time to safely ship this to you - it won't be easy :).

Tim

I've decided to sell to raise funds/lighten the load for a move to Eurpoe. Secondly, I don't seem to use it (2 years in storage) since I've moving out of a house and into apartment in the city where there is no room/not able to plumb-in.

Yes, I can ship to the states but I warn that it is very expensive ($110+/70lb+) from estimates I've made for people so far.

Tim,

Sorry to see you selling this, but whomever buys it is going to get a very well-cared for machine.  For the price you are asking, someone in Canada needs to jump all over this thing as it's a bargain compared to what you guys have to pay for one new there.

As Tim mentioned, I ran it on Chris Coffee's 2-stage filtration system its entire life, and when I sold it to him I included two brand new cartridges - one carbon, one softening.

A few words on the steam tips.  I sold it with 3 tips: small 2-hole Isomac tip (stock on the Anita and Alexia at the time), small 4-hole tip that comes standard on the machine today, and the tip it came with originally - big 2-hole.  The small 2-hole tip is perfect for a beginner as it slows down the steaming, increases the velocity, and turns it into a very easy to microfoam machine.  The small 4-hole tip increases the speed quite a bit and is better used by those with a little more experience steaming.  The stock big 2-hole tip will test your skills.  You can get good microfoam with it, but it's very challenging, which is why the machine longer comes with this tip.

Best of luck with your move to Europe.

Cheers!
Merle

Hey Merle, long time no talk, and thanks for the additional info!

I'm sorry I didn't get the use you would have liked out of your old baby, it was a great machine while I used it though and thanks again for all the advice and info! I'll do my best to get it to another good CoffeeGeek home :).

All the steam tips Merle mentioned are still included, also I didn't mention that there is a bottomless Synesso portafilter with a triple basket included that doesn't quite fit the machine 100% (tabs are a bit too wide), but could become a fun project for someone, if interested. :)

Cheers!

Tim

Hey,

It's not quite up-and-running cause I'm unable to plumb in and no longer have an on-demand pump for it. I know that makes it a tough sell. I'll see if I can come up with something better.

Cheers!

Tim
