This has been sold. Thanks to everyone for their support, and congrats to the new owner!

I owned this Europiccola for years but used it only occasionally. I finally decided to sell it on ebay and after a couple of weeks the buyer asked for a refund because it had developed a leak, with water dripping out of the portafilter. I gave a full refund but am not capable of repairing it myself. As such, this unit would make an excellent rebuild candidate because it's a beautiful machine that is otherwise in great condition.

It includes everything pictured: the original portafilter and tamper, along with a brand new double filter basket from espressoparts.com, and the original single filter basket.

Full sized pictures can be seen here: http://soulshadow.com/pavoni1970/

$250 including US shipping. I'm also happy to ship to Canada if we could split the shipping cost.

Thanks Rob!

After testing this for someone who enquired, I found that I described the problem wrong and it may be less severe than I imagined. The leak actually doesn't occur at the base like I thought, but through the portafilter. This happens when it is on or off.

Sounds like it needs lubing or on a worst case scenario new seals.  That's a very cheap and easy fix!  The last thing I need is another machine, but this is tempting just to fix and pass along to someone who could use it.
