Hi, time to clear out some extra items in order to fund some new items. First up is a vintage Nuova Simonelli Mia.  Very clean and in full working condition.  Very unique and cute little piece that I had in my collection mainly for display purposes.  I believe that it is from 1980 as the tag on the bottom seems to indicate that which i assume is the date.  Comes with original manual and all accessories as well.  Drip tray is intact and not cracked. The drip grate is perfect stainless.  Only flaw on the machine is that around the steam wand the original red paint has flaked and chipped off.  I used high heat enamel to touch up those spots.  The red paint does not match exactly but the machine looks exactly the same from the front or back so I displayed it from the other side without the touched up paint.  For someone more careful I'm sure you can match the paint a bit better if you took the time.  There are a few minor pinhole nicks here and there but other than that its in pretty great shape for a 1980's machine with all original parts and accessories.

You lift the stainless cover on the side, fill the water tank, replace and turn it on.  That's it.

Thats what I'm hoping.  Its rare to find a vintage piece like this in this condition and complete. Would really like this to go to an enthusiast.

Andrew,
It is an interesting machine but I suspect most interest will be a collector of odd machines. Does it have a PPF or is it a normal PF?
I had never seen or heard of this machine until your post here. It seems that it was a SBDU aimed at the home market for the fashion minded.
Have you ever used it? I understand it was a display piece for you.

I know that it shares a certain number of components with the Elli and Ellimatic. If I didn't have something else in the pipeline right now, I'd be picking this up for the office machine, considering how happy I am with my Ellimatic.
