Sigh~~I thought the member here should more understand the benefit of this portafiler. It not only can  inspect the pulling and tamping, but can switch the filter basket to 45mm. La Peppina basket can contain up to 16g coffee while the original one can only contain 14g. For a espresso consumer, the make a huge difference in taste.

Should I put a "Sold" sign? I don't want to break the policy of this forum.

I can only speak for myself, but I am looking to buy a Caravel but only with all the original parts--ie including the original PF and baskets. I think because the Caravels are not that rare and can still be had for a decent prince on ebay.it it makes it a bit tougher to charge a premium price without these original parts. Don't get me wrong, I think you did a fine job with the handle and the bPF, but with vintage machines I imagine most people want original parts and only then add after market parts knowing in the back of your mind you have the originals.

I'm not sure what you paid for the Caravel without the PF but if you don't want to risk a low ball price on ebay you might want to reconsider the current 400 price tag. (edited: link to ebay removed).

Btw, you can still cancel an ebay auction without penalty while there are no bidders.

I totally understand what you say. Some people see it as an antique, but I saw it more toward espresso machine. I like it because almost no manufacture make open-kettle design espresso machine (except Espresso Strietman).
I think I cannot objectively make a best price since I spend way too many time rebuild it. I will let the auction do it for me.

By the way, if you are interested in making the 220V to super rare 110V Caravel, there is a heater manufacture in Italy who can make identical Caravel  110V heater for only 50 Euros (shipping included). His email is Gabor: resistenza.60@gmail.com. But of course the plug and the tag on the machine still remain the same.

Thanks for your advice!! Really appreciate it!!
