Subject: SOLD: Olympia Cremina 67 rebuilt

For sale is an Olympia Cremina, manufactured in 1985.

I've completely rebuilt the machine. I had the frame and shell powder coated. I replaced all the seals with the Orphan Espresso kit, the feet, the overpressure valve, and the overtemperature sensor. I fixed the short in the heating element.  I cleaned the boiler with a brass brush and removed all the scale.  The machine works great, there are no leaks, and should last for another 30 years.

Please view my photos here and following: click here

I tried to take photos of all the flaws-
The powdercoater sandblasted everything before coating, but he didn't patch the surfaces.  So, the base plate which was rusted is not smooth.  There is a small dip in the top right corner of the case, where it was rusted, but I tried to make it look as obvious in the photo as I could.
There are a few dings on the rear of the case.
The badge paint was mostly off, so I removed it all.  I haven't placed the badge (and I'll include the appropriate tape to do so), so the owner can decide whether to paint the badge or leave it, and where they want to place it.
There are some marks on the top of the front plate that are hidden under the cap.  You could probably get these off with more polishing, but the photos make them look worse than they are.
There is some chrome coming off the top ring.  See the photo.
Finally, there are some minor scratches- on the side of the lever and grouphead, and underneath the steam valve.

The machine works great, and it looks much better in person than in the flash photos.  The color is a pretty close to original red shown in the one blurry no-flash photo.

Anyway, please see the photos and if you have questions, email me

$1250, obo.  Price includes shipping to CONUS
