Hi All,

I sold my gear recently and then of course I felt lost, like I was wandering the streets unable to decide which out-of-the-way good coffee house to blow 20 mins getting to. Even though I only have one latte before work most days (and we have a great Faema/Mazzer set up at work), I had to get set up again.

Found a great machine, and just need a grinder. I've been very happy with both the macap and the mini I had and seeking another or something similar in the 250-400 range.

Thanks,

J

there was a Macap M4 for sale here a few weeks ago for $300 (or was it $325 last I saw it?).  AFAIK it hasn't been sold.  I check the board usually at least once a day and haven't seen a bump or "sold" edit on it since it was last lowered.

lemme look for it...brb

ok, so it was a little more than a few weeks ago, but it still appears for sale...

I have a basically new Compak K3 Elite (stepless) for sale in NYC that would be right in your range.  Less than half a pound of beans through it, still in manufacturer's box.  Interested?

Here's the SCG page:

Here's a review compared to the Mazzer:

I am in Brooklyn, and I have a Macap M4 (Stepped) that I would sell for $225. It has about 5 lbs of beans on a new set of burrs. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks!
