Subject: Have Rattleware 58mm tamper - need bottomless PF 58mm

Hi All,

I have an unused "Rattleware 58-Milimeter Round-Handled Tamper, Long"

and am seeking a bottomless ppf 58mm. I have baskets if you have just the handle.

The tamper is such a small ticket item, I'd rather not ship it (they're less than 30 bucks on Amazon), so meeting up in Manhattan would be preferable to a half hour boxing it up and the line at USPS, which can be a bear in NYC. Shipping it for a PPF trade of some sort, e.g., tamper plus cash, would certainly work, though.

I'll list it at $20, but open to all, especially if you have a PF.

Thanks everyone!

J
EDIT: Corrected PPF to PF - thanks for filling me in on that beerANDmathematics!

Fyi, PPF usually stands for 'pressurized portafilter' which, of course, cannot be bottomless.

I have a nuova simonelli 58mm portafilter to sell in Manhattan.  Very solid.  It's a $5 circular hole saw bit and 10 minutes work away from being bottomless :)

If you don't have the drill and vice, I'm happy to make the cut for you if you pick up the appropriate bit at home depot and bring it with you when you come by.  Let me know.

Interesting, I was sorta' thinking of doing that with the stock one that came with my new Expobar, but decided best to keep it intact in case I sell it some day. How much for your PF and how clean does it come out after attacking it with drills?  Feel free to email me directly jeremy java at g mail dot com - just take out all those spaces.
