i bought it 18 months ago from wholelattelove. i used it for nine months to grind about 20 lbs of coffee. i have not used the grinder for the last nine months.
the grinder looks and works like new. it might be considered better than new as the burrs are just about broken in by now.
here are the summary specifications of the e7: burr type: flat burr size: 64 mm watts: 400 rpm: 1400 weight: 28 lbs selling price: $550 shipping cost: actual cost (double boxed ready to ship weight is 39 lbs)
the bean hopper is huge and i never used it. i single dosed the grinder with 16 g of beans. i put a small rubber dish on the grinder throat to keep the beans from flying out when grinding. without the doser, the grinder is about 14" high.
the e7 produces an excellent grind quality, is very quiet in operation, is very easy to micro-adjust grind size, cleans easily, looks great and is exceptionally well made.
if you would like to know more about the e7, take a look at some of the videos produced by wholelattelove
the sale includes all of the original items including the following: e7 grinder bean hopper bean hopper lid doser lid grind catcher (not pictured) doser mounted tampers (there are two. i think 53 and 58mm. i never installed them.) double boxes and packing materials
i am selling the grinder as i bought a conical burr grinder and no longer need this one.
please contact me if you would like to buy the grinder or have any questions about the sale.
