Historically I change my equipment  every year or so and not because there is anything wrong with it but because I enjoy trying new things.  The Robur E has lived up to everything it is known for.   Incredible grinder and worthy of it's reputation.  I have used this grinder exclusively as a single dose grinder.  With the removal of the screen (saved and included )covering the chute retention for all practical purposes is as close to zero as possible.  The electronics counter on the funnel lid reads "3" as the number of shots used in preset cup dispensing.  I think that was the number on it when I got it new in July 2012.  I have used the manual button for all shots ground which is not recorded.   I consume 3-4 shots a day so I guess there are less than 1000 shots ground.  There are two hopper with this grinder.  One was removed from the base/connector to use for single dose use.  I think it can be reconnected to the base if desired.  The other hopper has never been used at all and still in its original packing.    The stainless tray that comes with the grinder is not shown and has never been used.   In fact the protection tape applied to it at the factory has never been removed.  I spend more time cleaning and maintaining my equipment than I do using it so the condition is perfect....like new.

If you have any questions or would like to see larger and more images of the grinder please let me know at;    rlb@triad.rr.com

If you would like references please let me know.

All materials that came with the grinder are included as well as the original shipping container.

$1850, shipping to lower 48 states included.

Thanks for considering..

Bob

Beautiful grinder. I can vouch for Bob and he is as good seller as it gets, I bought things from him. I know he maintains his equipment to crazy standards, he even betters me in that :-)))

May I ask what new grinder you purchased/are trying this year Bob after you sold this one?  Thanks!

Thank you and it's a very good question.  It's a custom made, single dose, direct drive,  low rpm, no retention grinder using the Compak OEM 68mm conical burrs.  Should have it in a couple of weeks.

A very intriguing response.  Do you mind letting us know where this grinder is coming from?  Photos?

Thanks,
Terence

I believe I know what it is but don't have a clue as to cost of the beast.  Since it is not on the market, yet, I'll wait breathlessly for the stats.

I do not know what Frank will be charging for a completed unit.  I do know he might have several options as to configurations of coatings on the cones and burrs.
