Subject: SOLD : Salvatore Semi-Auto Machine

Hi,

The machine I'm selling is hand-made by Salvatore in Solvang, CA.  It was purchased about 5 years ago.  The first two years, the machine was used to pull 2-3 doubles daily.  The last 3 years, it wasn't used at all. (long story)  I recently fired it up again, and went through a bag of Counter Culture Toscano.  The machine is in perfect working order, the chassis shows wear consistent with its age.  (No major nicks or gouges)  Included in the sale are two (2) portafilters; one for single and one for double shots.  I have had great pleasure using this machine but it is now time to pass it on to the next owner.  Here is a link to a similar machine that Salvatore is selling.  Send me a PM if you'd like to see more pics.

I am interested but I must involve the wife in the decision-making process.  Is this unit pourover or plumbed in?  If pix are already taken, would you mind attaching them to an email?  Public email address entered into CG profile.  Is there any maintenance history?

Dear Ari,

I am sorry that I spoke too soon.  I thought that all Salvatores were volumetric pumps.  Since it is not, I will pass on it.  Nice machine, though!  Makes me think twice about my obsession with volumetric pumps.
