If you're willing to spend $6,000 on a used GS/3, why not just buy a brand new GS/3 paddle version for a little more?

And a used GS/3 usually sells for $3,500-4000 on here.

Clearly you are looking at a high quality level of gear, I hope you are planning at least $1K or more for a grinder for this class of gear. Fancy and cool looking espresso machines may be the visual star of the show but it is the grinder that makes espresso.

Good luck!

Brand new both the automatic and paddle GS/3s sell for well south of $6K delivered to your door.  Don't get confused by the manufacturer's Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) and actual price.  That's why vendors say "Call for best price".  And has already been mentioned, don't skimp on the grinder.  Pair it with a big conical for best results.

Sorry about the confusion.
When I said up to 6000, I meant for the whole setup, not just the espresso machine.
I have a commercial-ish grinder but wouldn't mind upgrading it to a better one.
