(I would like to offer my Compak K3 touch (doserless) for sale here on Coffeegeek. I am asking what I think is an extremely reasonable $275 plus shipping costs to you. New from Chris Coffee it would cost you $499 plus tax. At this price you could use it for a couple of years and still get all your money back. I'd much rather someone in the NYC/Westchester County/CT area buy this for pick up but I am willing to ship if a local buyer is not found. I don't have the original carton as I never expected to upgrade so I will have to find/purchase appropriate materials so that UPS/FedEx does not mangle it. Below is an old link to the K3 from Coffeegeek that has some of my old posts and photo(s) of the actual grinder (http://coffeegeek.com/forums/espresso/grinders/408581). I will take any new photos in addition to those in this ad that a potential buyer might ask for. It is in perfect running order. The small hopper has a crack in it as described on home barista (Click Here (www.home-barista.com)) but it has not expanded in years and it does not affect its daily use. The grinder was purchased from Chris Coffee in early 2009 and with the recommendation of Mary over all comparable doserless models including Mazzer Mini and MACAP. The grind quality is superb. I removed the rubber guards and I can get my finger all the way up to the burrs so with a brush, fingers and pulsing I have almost no retention of coffee. I use WDT for every shot and it has been modestly used for 2-3 doubles per day for probably 6 days per week. It also has a cool “touch” feature that grinds for preset time (by you with an adjustment knob on the bottom of the grinder) at a touch of the bar with the portafilter for easy dosing. It makes a great starting grinder or decafe grinder at a great price. Thanks for looking. I took her apart to show the burrs in perfect shape, sharp and ready to last as long as someone owns it.

lower burr and grind chamber She is in perfect running order - I will send a video of it running if someone wishes and demonstrating the touch feature for timed grinding. If you are in the NYC/Westchester/CT area come by and I will use it to make you espresso with my Anita and compare it to a K10.
