Edit: Mini Vivaldi sold! Grinder sold! Thanks Coffeegeek!
Hi guys, I purchased this original Mini Vivialdi and matching La Spaziale grinder from the American Barista and Coffee School here in Portland, but think I prefer my Brewtus (not an easy choice!). This beauty is basically brand new, fully tested and pulls very quiet shots (much more pleasant to listen to than my Brewtus). It basically sat on display for a short period and was then put in storage until I bought it. Cosmetically perfect except for a couple small scuffs on panel corners. But heck, at this price you can buy a set of custom wood panels from http://www.clivecoffee.com/category/vivaldi_panels.html Clive Coffee and still save 20% off the cost of a new machine. I have a new in box Rattleware stainless tamper available as well ($40 value).
For sale at $1500 (possibly open to NW trade offers) with a beautiful black La Spaziale Astro 12 (rebranded Macap) commercial grinder. Or $300 for the grinder, $1200 for the machine. More photos and videos available (I film shots regularly). I've sold a Nuova Simonelli Oscar and also a Quickmill Andreja Premium through the forum in the last year, and also have 10+ years of flawless eBay feedback.
Being the lucky buyer of the Spaz, I wanted to leave a few comments about the transaction:
- Ben is a great guy; chatty, informative, generally responsive, and honest - He accurately described the condition of the S1 and sent a dozen pictures, shot presumably with a DSLR, detailing both the imperfections and big picture - The shipping across the country cost more than either of us expected, but he had it shipped professionally through Clive coffee. It was double boxed; the serious original packaging was boxed inside of another durable box with 8 styrofoam edge pieces to keep it off the sides. The 85# package arrived perfectly despite traveling via UPS cross-country. - I couldn't have imagined how quality and serious the S1 was before handling it. It's well worth the new price.
Now, someone needs to buy the grinder before I do!
