great you have a budget.  great you're open to suggestions.  I highly recommend reading the espresso machine buying guide before giving someone your hard earned cash, so you can begin to figure out what you need/want.  At least that way, you may actually be happy with what you buy.  Also, make sure you have some money set aside for an adequate grinder, which is essential for producing good espresso.

Thanks for the tips.  I have read the buying guide and bought a Baratza Vario grinder, now only an espresso machine is left. :)

If you'd split, I'd be interested in the silvia etc, but already have a grinder.

I have a beautiful Bezzera BZ02 heat exchanger machine in Portland. Email me if you'd like to know more. I'm not sure what shipping would be, but you should have enough to get a good grinder too!

Check out this thread on Home Barista Click Here (www.home-barista.com) for a gently used QuickMill Silvano for sale for $700 in Toronto.

I chew coffee beans with my teeth while gargling with 195 F water to enjoy coffee. What is this "coffee brewing" device you speak of?

I don't mean to hijack this thread but I would be interest in hearing more about the bezzera as I am looking for a good ha machine as well. An email has been sent.

What are you asking for the Dual Boiler? Your email isn't in your profile.
