I'm looking for a replacement beaker for a 6-cup French press (photo attached). The beaker measures:
height 150 mm top diameter abt. 90 mm incl. lip body o.d. 86 mm (3-3/8")
On the beaker is printed:
PYREX
For boiling water Caution refrain from flame [nice translation]
but there is no brand name or other marking that I can find anywhere on the pot.
It belonged to my mother-in-law, who died in October. I'd like to fix it up and give it to my daughter, who has fond memories of her grandma making coffee in it, but I'm having a hard time finding a beaker of this diameter. If anyone has one to sell, of course I'm interested; if not, perhaps you'll have ideas on how I might locate one.
Thanks,
George Newman

If the capacity of the vessel is 400 ml then you can get one (or a whole case of them) from any chemical supply house. They're known as "Berzilius Beakers".
