I posted earlier this week looking for just an HX, but it looks like my price range could reach a few decent double boiler machines out there as well. Here are a few of the features I'm looking for.
New or Pre-Owned: Pre-Owned Price Range: $1000-$1500 HX or Double Boiler: Either Auto or Semi: Either Finish: Stainless steel Age: <3 years Reservoir or Plumb: Reservoir PID: Great if you've got it, but not necessary
As far as home modifications go, I've been really impressed by a lot of what I've seen recently. So definitely keep me in mind if you thought your machine would have limited market appeal b/c of some mods you made to it.
Just to give an idea of what I'm looking for, here are some brands and models that could fit the bill (but are by no means exhaustive):
- Rocket Cellini or R58 - Vibiemme DoubleDomo or Super HX - Expobar Brewtus IV - ECM Technika - Izzo Alex Duetto - Quick Mill Vetrano or Andreja Premium Other things along these lines.
