Subject: FS: Single group E61 HX espresso machine - Grimac La Uno - $800

I upgraded to a Mini Vivaldi II about a year ago and have been meaning to sell my prior E61 HX machine.

The machine is a Grimac La Uno (aka "Grimac La Una" aka "Grimac Mini"; it seems to have many names). It's an E61-based heat exchange design.  Here's a full description of the machine from 1st-line: Click Here (www.1st-line.com) I'm told it's basically the "big brother" of the La Valentina

It has a huge 5L water reservoir, 1.3L boiler, auto-fill, volumetric (or manual) dosing, etc etc etc.

When I got it, it was outfitted with a pod system and auto-frother attachment.  I removed those and replaced with a brand new (upgraded and fully articulating) steam wand and new standard grouphead/filter screen from 1st-line.  The pod adapter and auto-frother are included, but I doubt many here will find a use for them.  It pulls great shots now!

Click links for pictures:

Included accessories (portafilter & spout, tamper, double basket, single basket, blind basket, 3 steam tips, steaming pitcher, thermometer)
Included spare parts (2 group gaskets, spare pressurestat, pod adapter, autofrother)
My prior setup (for size scale)

The standard going rate for used E61 HX's here seems to be in the 800-1200 range; I'll let it go on the low end:
Price: $800 OrBestOffer

Available for local pickup in Raleigh/Durham, NC area, or buyer to pay actual packing & shipping.

Price lowered to $800 for the espresso machine.  You're not gonna find an E61 HX much cheaper than this!

I am interested in buying the Rocky grinder but would need it shipped USPS to Canada. If this suits you let me know and we can work out the details. Thanks. Fred

Rocky sold to a new CG member who emailed me directly.

Still have a nice HX available for $800; will entertain reasonable offers!  This would make a great Christmas present for yourself ;)
