( Euro2000 badged as a Espressa, this is a Euro2000 Jr. It is all stainless steel, and I consider it beautiful, but that is a subjective opinion.
It has been my personal machine that I have used at home for the last 3+years to make 2 very good lattes per day. I am selling it because I have upgraded to Vivaldi II.

I would really rather not ship this machine.  I have had rotten luck getting machines shipped to me.  That said, I am willing to give it a shot if I cannot sell locally, and you want to take the risk of shipping.
I do have this machine listed on CraigsList for a bit more.  Selling to someone here would make me happier, hence the discount.

For a detailed professional opinion of this machine, please see the review by Mark Prince
"Euro2000 Junior Deluxe First Look"

I believe that this is a later generation. It has a better steam wand, but the same mostly useless hot water wand.

The group has been kept clean. I backflushed with water after every session, with detergent every other week. The boiler and heat exchanger have just been descaled; I have done so about every 8 months.

Modifications made to the machine;
  • When I bought it I had a service company look it over and they replaced a solenoid. The machine has been working great ever since then.
  • I installed a group thermometer (Click Here (www.chriscoffee.com)). The adapter and thermometer is an excellent tool for developing a routine for pulling your shot of espresso. Unfortunately the thermometer recently failed and I have had no need to replace it, so it comes with the adapter (not currently installed). The thermometers can be replaced for $40. I can do this for you if you like. If I do ship, I will not ship with the thermometer installed.
  • The pressurestat was replaced about half a year ago because group temps were reading high to start.

Comes with everything pictured:
2 portafilters, one of which is bottomless
5 portafilter baskets:
1 blank (for backflushing)
1 single
2 double
1 VST Triple (there is actually a second non-VST triple basket, but it has a small dent).
Bumper convex tamper
OE Dosing funel
Group cleaning tool
spare dispersion screen and group gasket
training steam tip with smaller diameter holes (smaller holes give more time to steam the milk)
Group thermometer adapter
7 day + weekend/weekday timer. I set it to turn the machine on 45 minutes before I wake up so that it is fully warmed up when I am ready for my latte.

Add a grinder and some coffee and you are ready to go.

This is still available.  I've received some interest from my CL posting and one crazy lowball offer.

Feeling a little more motivated now, so shipping is now included in the price.  I am willing to ship to the lower 48.
I can take $50 off the price for a buyer who does not need shipping.

The extras amount to over $100 of useful stuff, so for someone looking to move from SBDU to HX this is like getting the machine for $550 and then getting a deal on the extras that you would be looking to get anyway.

Shipping is included in the price so I would cover that.  The cost to me to ship to ND is probably less than $50.

Fantastic machine! I just shipped one from Oregon to Michigan for $40 UPS Ground, I believe the package weight was 47 pounds.
