Looking for a nice used home machine to upgrade from my Rancilio Silvia. I really like the Expobar Brewtus and the Izzo Alex Duetto II, but will consider other dual boiler machines with rotary pumps of that caliber. Please email me or call me Area code 508 phone 326-5691 if you have one for sale. Thanks, Vito

A good used machine in this class will go for about $1500 or so.
Good luck. Beat the bushes where you live, look in Craigs list, go to restaurant supply stores, used equipment stores, in short, you will need to put in a lot of shoe leather into the mix to find something in that price range. It is possible to find one but it will not fall into your lap.

I don't think any amount of legal effort will get you what he is asking for at his price... I'd take 10 at that price, then flip them here or on ebay for $1200 each, in about 1 day.

I actually bought a Expobar Brewtus locally, for a better deal than that. I'm very happy with the machine so far. The dual boiler is a great upgrade, I'm getting much better consistency and much better tasting shots with the Brewtus. I think it may have something to do with the minimal steam coming from the brew head after extensive warmup. My old Sylvia would make more steam than water from the brew head after switching back from steaming milk. I would have to wait for it to cool for 10 min or so after making a latte, in order to pull a shot without scolding the grinds. Now I can steam as much milk as I want and still pull good quality shots without the wait.
