I sold this machine via coffeegeek last year. It had just been serviced at Seattle Coffee Gear and in perfect working order. Unfortunately, the machine was damaged in shipping - interior damage only, exterior looks great. I accepted the return from the buyer and it was shipped back to me. Big headache!! I'm finally getting around to selling the machine again.
I decided not to fix the machine prior to sale because Seattle Coffee Gear will not transfer the repair warranty to the new owner. The repair estimate is below and includes a $50 repair estimate that I already paid. In total, the parts are about $150 and labor $300 - great deal if you are handy and want to tinker. It is possible the machine does not need all repairs listed, as fixing one thing, may resolve other repair items in estimate.
I am asking $500 for the machine, as-is, and selling in the Seattle area only.

Hi Gregg,
We're following up with you regarding the diagnosis and estimate for repair of your equipment. After troubleshooting, we've determined the following issues:
Machine was dropped in shipping which bent the steam valve assembly and ripped the nut assembly out of the back of the machine for the water tank sensors. Also the water pump is no longer pushing with the correct pressure and the boiler heats intermitantly so the pressure stat and pump need to be replaced. JE
=================================== ================================== The estimated cost for repair, including parts and labor, is:
1 RA-GeneralWarranty Repair $0.00
1 RA-CODE Warranty Information $0.00
1 SCGXW0 Extended Warranty Offer $0.00
12 RA-General Repair $25.00
2 Part100 Nut assembly for water tank sensors $15.00
Once we receive your approval, a tech will perform the repair and we'll contact you once it's complete.
Please let us know if you'd like to approve this repair. If you have any questions or need clarification before doing so, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Unfortunately, I'm not interested in shipping the machine...
I also wanted to clarify that I am the original owner, purchased new in December 2007 from Visions Espresso (in Seattle) and used daily for about 3 1/2 year. The Andrea sat in a dedicated espresso bar and has no exterior damage. I upgraded to the Duetto last year and that is why it is being sold.
