I want a Pharos for my hand grinder collection. I may use use it from time to time but I do not see it as my main grinder. Because of this , I cannot buy it new.
Does anyone want to let his go?

Fingers crossed for you, but I have a feeling that if you start setting aside $1 each day you'll be able to afford a Pharos new before you get your first serious reply to this thread in the suggested price range.

My wife might sell mine for $100 along with everything else I think I own, but I wouldn't sell mine for $500. I know I could buy a new one for less, but the more time you spend with it, the more it becomes uniquely "yours". Hard to explain, but Gollum understands...
I chew coffee beans with my teeth while gargling with 195 F water to enjoy coffee. What is this "coffee brewing" device you speak of?

I understand the Gollum thing very well...
That being said there very well might be someone out there that just does not look at the Pharos as his precious and might consider letting it go to try something else.
Please, I would urge everyone to only look at the $100 figure as a random number because it is nothing more than that. If someone has a really banged up one that does not even work anymore because it went under a truck than the $100 is to generous but if the grinder is 2 weeks old and is a buyer remorse than the $100 can be multiplied by 2. I am willing to consider anything even failed Frankenphros modifications :-)
