Cool! Always nice to get things just before a weekend, instead of the following Monday. I had some mountain bike parts show up today, I know the feeling.
As for the parts, I have a "like new" (meaning it's soft, not gouged up, etc., I'm not even sure I did anything more than just put it on a machine and take it back off) 8.5mm thick grouphead gasket. I didn't list it earlier because the caveat is that it may work perfectly, or you may need 9mm instead. The .5mm difference sounds close but get it wrong and you may not be able to get the portafilter even started, or may have it not only go on but go way too far. If you have a gasket now, you should be able to remove it and see what size it is marked on the rubber itself (the side against the machine unfortunately). If you don't have one at all, I can't say better than 50/50 which one you need.
As for the knob, sorry but I don't have anything. Kinda funny I guess since I have a valve. This one may be hard to come by, I know that "parts guru" and a few other places carry them but it's a dumb price for it, $20 plus shipping or so. Wish I had a better answer for you.
