Subject: SOLD: Yama Siphon TCA-5D w/Burner & Extras in RDU, NC

I've got a Yama TCA-5D table-top Siphon pot setup with burner that I'm primarily interested in selling via local pick-up in the RDU area (Raleigh/Durham, NC). It's a few months old, in excellent condition.

- TCA-5D siphon, all parts (except for the plastic scoop/stirrer that came with it)
- Wall Lenk butane burner & 4-5 cans of butane
- Bamboo stir paddle, if you want it - not the normal style, but one I picked up at World Market
- Dispersion screen filter kit from Orphan Espresso (can also be used with paper filters)

I'll post pictures if you're interested, but the only thing that shows any wear is the burner due to normal heat discoloration on the diffuser.

The price posted below is for local pickup. If pressed, I might be willing to ship, but it might be expensive to do so. It's also a lot of glass, which makes me nervous about shipping.

Listing Details
Asking / Suggested Price: $75
Seller Name: Josh Dyson
Seller Location: RDU, NC
Sale Type: For Sale

I'm going to bump JP, just to let those who have not had coffee prepared this way that the results can be stunningly good, and fun.
I've had coffee from this particular siphon, and it is terrific.
I believe they preheated water a bit, and used the OEM burner, so you have an upgraded burner?

Both the original alcohol lamp and an upgraded butane burner (more control). Still, best to use pre-heated water to save your butane.

Haven't seen your email; I don't think that mailserver is down (it's the university's mailserver).

Indeed, but I sent it from an address that I don't have on file. In any case, we're in touch and discussing the particulars. Thanks for your help as always, Rob - if you need to clean up some clutter from this thread (additional posts about communication and what not) it wouldn't bother me.

---EDIT: Nevermind; sold!---
