Looking for a good working order Expobar Lever Plus (preferably), or Lever, or possibly Brewtus (if the price is right).  I'm just getting started in the espresso world, but don't want to start with basic beginner equipment.  I would rather jump right in and get reasonably professional equipment... but I can't afford the machines I like brand new.

Would also consider other brands/models of similar quality, make me an offer.  Izzo, Quick Mill, or Rocket/ECM would be other preferable makes.

Price is negotiable depending on machine, condition, etc... but I absolutely can't spend over $1400.  Would rather be in the $800-1000 range.

*EDIT* Increased price willing to pay and changed title/models looking for.

Thanks for the offer, but I don't think I'm interested in a machine quite that old, even though I'm sure it has plenty of life in it still.  There's just too many variables that could go wrong in that many years, or be about to go wrong, then I'm investing money in repairs right away and might as well have just bought new.

If I were to take that kind of risk, it would have to be at a bit lower of a price point.  Also, I like the Expobars a bit better than the Isomacs, for whatever reason...

Anyone else have a nice semi-auto in the Expobar Lever-Brewtus caliber range that they'd be willing to part with for a reasonable price?  I'm starting to think about buying the Lever Plus new for a bit over $1200, so my price range is stretched a bit further than I had anticipated, if this brings any higher end machines into play.  I prefer the classic simple (beautiful) design of Expobar, Quickmill, ECM, and the like, but will consider good offers of other equipment as well.

Somebody help a newbie out :)

-Mike

Bump?

Thinking about buying new this week if nothing turns up in the next day or two.

Thanks,

Last call before I just bite the bullet and buy new...

Willing to spend up to $1400, but this will have to be an Izzo Alex II, Rocket Giotto Evoluzione, Expobar Brutus, Quick Mill Vetrano, or similar grade machine.

Willing to entertain any and all offers of E61 HX/DB models up to $1400.  Also prefer exposed grouphead.

At the top of the price range, will require direct plumb option, and prefer rotary pump and PID.

Anyone?
