Is the Thor a standard 53mm or made for the Vivaldi aka 53.5mm?  Better question would be does it fit the basket with some play or is it pretty tight?  I have a Thor but its pretty loose and yours would match my portafilter

It was made for the S1. It has a little bit of play in the S1 baskets, but definitely not much at all.

Added a few steam tips and tip adapter for the S1 to the original post.
Check it out!

I didn't think you could get any steam tip adapters for the S1.  Do any of your tips work better for small quantities of milk (3 oz) than the standard 4 hole tip?  If so, I'm interested.  Michael

The 3 hole was the original original, if I may say so.
It has large holes and is harder to control than the new original 4 hole tip. The 3 hole design is right off their previous commercial machines.

The 2 hole tip steams very small quantities well, but is really slow for larger amounts (even for 5oz it's slow).

There was a time when I was playing with numerous tips. For the average milk amount in a good average time, the 4 hole is the best on the Vivaldi.

But there's a large number of tips with 10mm threads from commercial machines, and those can be used with the adapter.

There's a CG article from 2001 about steam tips:

It's more for those that want to play with it.

Single spout gone too, below is a pic of available double spouts.
They fit many other manufacturer's baskets too (not just La Spaz; I've tried them with my La Marzocco).
