My wife has been bugging me about the space I take for espresso equipment, so I decided to buy a smaller machine. I am looking forward to learning to use my new/used Vibiemme Domobar Super w/PID!
Therefore I am selling my Rancilio S1. I bought it from a B & B, and it was well cared for when I bought it. I only use softened water, have descaled it, and backflush regularly. I recently installed a new shower screen, group gasket and rebuilt the steam and hot water wands. Everything is in excellent working condition. It has light wear. It's a well made machine with plenty of steaming power. Parts are readily available at a reasonable cost.
I think I can ship it for about $80.
The new machine came with a Rocky. I already have a good grinder, so that's for sale too. It's not mint, but has very light marks. I believe the seller in that is had been used for less than 100 shots. It's VERY clean. I could ship it for $20.
I have pictures, but they are too big for posting here, so send your email address to tcotruvo@yahoo.com if you are interested.

In answer to a question I received, the Rancilio is an Epoca S1. It has a rotary pump, and can be connected to a water line or, as I used it, the line can be put into a tank or water jug near by. It does not have programmable dosing. It has a tube for connecting to a drain.
