It's a great grinder - especially at this price - but I don't really need two Macaps, so CG members are getting first dibs on my M4 until Monday November 28 before I put it on sale "alternatively." If you're interested, the price is $395.
It comes with a custom modified bean hopper, nicely cut and finished for a total height of 13 5/8". The diameter was chosen to fit Macap's doser cover, which fits smooth and snug, and with the cover on still fits easily under a 14" cabinet. Don't need the short version? That's fine too, since this M4 also includes a brand new/unused factory bean hopper. So it's got two hoppers, each with its own lid, plus the doser's lid.
It comes with all its original accessories in its original box and packing - as you see, I've removed the finger-guard but it's included so you can re-install it, or you can also install it facing backwards (from the front side) to provide a filter basket shelf to sift or dose into, with the extra going right back into the hopper. Handy if you like to dose that way.
This machine was purchased this summer and has had exactly 17 lbs. of coffee ground through it - yes, I keep a shot log! So the burrs have been just broken in, but barely used.
