Since it's a required field in the BST forum, that usually means they don't have a specific price they are looking to pay, but would like someone to make them an offer.

No, I don't plan to pay $1. It's like wfallon said, I had to put something in the amount. I might pay up to $200 for a used one, just depends on its age and condition. I can get free shipping, 1lb of coffee, and the CDT for about $250 online.
Thanks for the refurbished tip at Boyds. I immediately called customer service and ordered one. The shipping wasn't free, but overall it was a 28% discount from buying new without the free coffee. That included tax $9.71 and shipping $9.95. I was taxed because there is a dealer in Topeka Kansas. $203 total. The brew through lid for the thermal carafe should be available at Boyds in December.
I received the refurbished coffee maker from Boyd's last night. It looked like new, well packed, very clean, however it did smell like someone brewed chocolate flavored coffee in it. I ground some Starbuck's House Blend and brewed 8 cups. The coffee was hot, smooth, and delicious. I like the flavor better than when I use my Bodum press. I retired my Delonghi DC485 that never made coffee comparable to the Technivorm results. Very happy! Thanks
