Subject: For trade, possible sell- Verna Design Rancilio bottomless PF

Hello,

I have for sale/trade a Rancilio Bottomless PF.  It is a Verna Design portafilter.  I purchased it new from Chris' Coffee Service, in late March 2009.  Since then, I have used it about 50% of the time, along with my E-61 single spouted portafilter.  The craftsmanship of the portafilter is top of the line.  The rim on the PF has a beautifully machined lip, perfectly even all the way around, revealing the lovely brass.  This is not your average garage-hack PF.  Of course, being bottomless, this portafilter fits a triple basket no problem.  What I mainly use this portafilter for, is for my backflushing.. I water backflush a couple times a day, and chemically flush once every 4-5 days, so, while this portafilter has seen pretty much daily use since I bought it, it is still in great condition.  There is ZERO chrome missing, minus where it was bottomed out.  The handle has ZERO dings, nicks or scratches. The ONLY, 100% COSMETIC "issue" is there are a few SURFACE nicks around the outside rim of the portafilter, but as I said, there is no chrome missing.  These few dings were caused by knocking the portafilter into the grouphead while trying to lock it in.  you cant even see them unless you hold the PF at a certain angle under the light.  But, I want to be as honest as possible, and because of these "nicks", Im saying this Portafilter is in 96% condition.  Also, on the end of the handle, there is a small "Gimme! Coffee" sticker.  It is a circle, about the size of a half dollar, and its red, with thier trademark exclamation point.

The Mind and Machines
of Verna Design

I would like to trade this for a quality tamper, something like a Reg Barber, a CoffeeLab, or an EPNW tamper.  It would need to be 58mm, and Convex/US curve.  Im not into the Euro-curve/PROFOUND curve tampers, but, show me what ya got. It doesnt HAVE to be one of the tampers I named, but I dont want to trade for something "cheap".. ya know?

I might also be up for a sale, if no one feels like trading.  $50USD plus shipping.  i would, however, prefer a trade.

Of course, a picture is worth a thousand words, so Ive got some.  For whatever reason, Im having trouble uploading them directly, so Ive included the links to my photobucket album.  They are below...

Jman, I am interested in it.  I was just looking for this one.  I do have some tampers available for trade or I could buy it outright or a combination.
Lets talk.  You can email me at:  drcroix@aol.com

Thanks, Devin
